Symmetrical Patters

I really enjoyed working with symmetrical patterns. I liked how the different effects make the pattern look different, and the photograph is given a different sense of depth. At the district arts festival, I was able to sell the green symmetrical pattern piece. I think that symmetrical pattern pieces are more likely to sell, because there is not a certain subject, but are able to convey a certain mood and sense of depth. They are just interesting to look at and very colorful.

Vertical Stripes

I like how the vertical stripe effect changes the dynamic of the piece. It gives it a sense of brokenness, but is still able to convey the expression on the person's face. This effect would be good for statement pieces and portraiture.

Hand Color

I was not able to work much with hand coloring, but I like how it is able to recolor the color of feeling that has been lost. This image also shows how hand coloring can enhance a picture, and give it a new feeling and theme.
